About this product
The CN26 distintivo (the official classification plaque) identifies the guachinche, the traditional Canarian establishment that sells its own home-grown wine on a temporary, seasonal basis, most typical of northern Tenerife. The owner must display this plaque for as long as the activity runs, tied to the business’s own wine production.
Regulations
Decreto 50/2011, of 8 April (BOC No. 81, the Canary Islands official gazette), sets the official design of the CN26 plaque and requires it to be displayed in a visible spot on the premises. The guachinche activity itself is specifically regulated by Decreto 83/2013, of 1 August, which restricts it to selling wine harvested by the owner, for a maximum of four months a year, with a limited food offering made up of a few dishes using the owner’s own or locally sourced produce.

Ordering and delivery
It is made to order and shipped to any island in the Canaries. Being a personalised product, it does not carry a 14-day right of withdrawal (article 103.c LGDCU, Spain’s General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users); if it arrives with a manufacturing defect, we replace it free of charge, as explained in shipping and returns.
See the rest of the models in the Canary Islands classification plaques category and who needs each one in the guide Canary Islands classification plaque: what it is and who needs it. If your establishment serves full meals year-round rather than seasonal, own-grown wine, the plaque you need is the CN22, restaurant.
