About this product
The CN23 distintivo (the official classification plaque) identifies bars and cafés in the Canary Islands: establishments that serve drinks continuously throughout their opening hours, whether or not accompanied by quick or simple food. The owner must display this plaque on the outside of the premises.
Regulations
Decreto 50/2011, of 8 April (BOC no. 81), sets the official design of the CN23 plaque and requires it to be placed next to the entrance, visible from outside. The bar-café group, distinguished from a restaurant by its quick or simple food offering, is defined in Decreto 90/2010, of 22 July, which regulates catering activity in the Canary Islands and requires the display of a classification plaque showing the establishment’s group.
