About this product
The CN08 distintivo (the official classification plaque) identifies hotels classified in the 3-star category in the Canary Islands. The establishment’s owner must display it outside to certify the official category awarded by the cabildo insular (the island council).
Regulations
Decreto 50/2011, of 8 April (BOC no. 81), regulates the uniform design of the CN08 plaque and requires it to be placed on the hotel façade, next to the main entrance, visible from the street. Star classification is set out in Decreto 142/2010, of 4 October, the Regulation of Tourist Accommodation Activity in the Canary Islands.
