About this product
The CN10 distintivo (the official classification plaque) corresponds to hotels classified in the 5-star category in the Canary Islands, one tier below the gran lujo (grand luxury) category. It certifies the establishment’s official classification to guests and the tourism inspectorate and must be shown outside.
Regulations
Decreto 50/2011, of 8 April (BOC no. 81), sets the design of the CN10 plaque and requires it to be installed on the hotel façade, next to the main entrance, visible from the street. The 5-star category is awarded under Decreto 142/2010, of 4 October, the Regulation of Tourist Accommodation Activity in the Canary Islands.
Features
- Size: 30 x 30 cm.
- Material: aluminium composite panel, suitable for outdoor use.
- Design: official CN10 plaque per the annex to Decreto 50/2011.

Ordering and delivery
It is made to order and shipped to any island in the Canaries. As a personalised product it is not subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal (art. 103.c LGDCU, the Spanish consumer protection law); a manufacturing defect is replaced free of charge, per shipping and returns.
See the rest of the categories at Canary Islands classification plaques and the guide Canary Islands classification plaque: what it is and who needs it. If the hotel is gran lujo, the correct plaque is the CN05; if it is on consolidated urban land, see the CN08, 3 stars or the urban hotel range.
