T-Shirt Printing Techniques: DTF, Sublimation, Screen Printing and Embroidery

Which technique to choose for your design

DTF (Direct to Film)

The most versatile technique: full colour, works for T-shirts one at a time, and works on almost any fabric and colour, including black.

Sublimation

Only on light-coloured polyester; the colour becomes part of the fibre, ideal for technical T-shirts and edge-to-edge kits.

Screen Printing

More cost-effective the larger the run, with solid colours that hold up well to repeated washing; usual minimum from 25 units.

Embroidery

For small logos with a premium finish: polo shirts, caps and corporate clothing, with raised texture and hard-wearing thread.

Fabrics available

100% Cotton

Comfortable and breathable, for everyday wear and merchandise.

Technical Polyester

For sublimated edge-to-edge sports kits.

Premium / Organic

OEKO-TEX and Fairtrade certifications available on request.

How to personalise your T-shirt

  2. Send us your design: in PNG, PDF or AI. If you don’t have a design, our team can create one.
  3. We choose the technique: DTF, sublimation, screen printing or embroidery, depending on your design and quantity.
  4. We produce it: collect from our workshop in Mogán or we’ll deliver it; the timeframe is confirmed with the quote.

Frequently asked questions

Which technique is best for a single T-shirt?

DTF: there’s no per-unit setup cost and it works in full colour on almost any fabric, so it’s the usual choice for orders of 1 unit.

Can you print on dark T-shirts?

Yes. DTF and screen printing can be used on any fabric colour, including black or navy, without the background colour distorting the design.

What if I have a logo with few colours for lots of T-shirts?

For large runs with few colours, screen printing tends to be the most cost-effective technique, with very solid colours; we’ll advise you based on your exact design and quantity.
