Publink is a print and signage workshop in Mogán, in the south of Gran Canaria. If you live here, run a business here, or manage a property here and would rather order printing in English than navigate a Spanish-only site, this page covers what we make and how to order it.
What we print
Everything below is made to order in our own workshop and ordered online: you send us what you need, we produce it, and either post it to you anywhere on the island (or elsewhere in the Canaries) or have it ready for pickup in Mogán.
- Banners and large-format printing: event banners, shop-front displays, roll-up stands and posters.
- Signage: shop signs, illuminated and non-illuminated, mounted signage and outdoor plaques.
- Vehicle graphics: decals and lettering for cars, vans and shop windows.
- Business cards, menus and flyers: for restaurants, shops and small businesses.
- Custom T-shirts and workwear: for teams, events, clubs and businesses that need a uniform look.
- Stickers and mugs: small runs, personalised or branded.
How ordering online works
Everything is ordered through our website and paid for by card at checkout: there is no need to visit the workshop to place an order, though you are welcome to arrange a visit by appointment if you would rather discuss something in person. The usual process is:
- Send us your artwork, or tell us what you have in mind and ask us to design it for you.
- We check the file and send back a digital proof for you to approve before we print anything.
- Once approved, production starts in our Mogán workshop.
- We ship by Correos to any of the seven Canary Islands, or you can collect free of charge in Mogán by arrangement.
Our checkout and confirmation emails are in Spanish, but you can write to us in English at any stage, by email or by phone, and we will handle the order in English from our side even where the system itself displays Spanish text.
The 3D designer, for garments, mugs and stickers
For T-shirts, workwear, mugs and stickers, our online 3D designer lets you place your own text, logo or artwork directly on the product and see roughly how the finished piece will look before you order: useful when you are choosing a design from a screen rather than seeing a physical sample. On garments, the printable area is limited by the width of the fabric: up to 30 cm on the back, 28 cm on the chest, and 9 cm on each sleeve, so keep those dimensions in mind when preparing artwork for a larger design.
Preparing your artwork
If you are sending your own file rather than asking us to design something, a few basics make sure the print comes out as intended:
- File formats: PDF, AI or EPS for vector artwork (logos, text, line art); PNG for raster images, ideally with a transparent background.
- Resolution: raster images at 300 dpi at the size they will actually be printed: a low-resolution logo pulled from a website will look blurred once enlarged.
- Colour mode: CMYK rather than RGB for anything printed on paper, vinyl or fabric: RGB files (built for screens) can shift colour noticeably once printed.
- Bleed: 3 mm of bleed around any design that runs to the edge of the piece, so trimming doesn’t leave a thin white border.
- Fonts: outlined (converted to paths) rather than left as live text, so the design looks the same on our machines as it does on yours.
None of this is compulsory: if you send us a file that does not quite meet these points, we will normally flag it and suggest a fix, or offer to design the piece for you instead.
Delivery and lead times
Shipping is by Correos to all seven Canary Islands, from €6.96 for standard post or €8.56 for registered post, with free pickup in Mogán by arrangement. Transit time is added on top of production time and depends on your destination. For custom T-shirts, production is normally 72 working hours for orders up to 49 units, and up to 7 working days for 50 units or more; these are working days, so an order placed over a weekend enters production on the next working day. For everything else, such as signage, banners, vehicle graphics and the rest, production time varies by job and material, so we confirm the lead time with your quote before you order rather than promising a fixed figure up front.
Prices
All prices shown on our site include IGIC (Canarian sales tax), so the figure you see at checkout is the figure you pay, plus shipping. Because pricing depends on size, material and quantity, we quote each job individually rather than listing a single price for a whole category: the fastest way to get a figure is to send us the details of what you need.
Common questions
Can I order everything in English?
You can send artwork, ask questions and receive support in English throughout. The checkout screen and automated confirmation emails are in Spanish, but any direct email or phone contact with us is handled in English.
Do I need to visit the workshop?
No. Orders are placed online and shipped or held for pickup. If you would like to visit in person to discuss a job, get in touch first and we will arrange an appointment.
What file format should I send?
PDF, AI or EPS for vector artwork, or a high-resolution PNG for images. If you are not sure your file is right, send it anyway: we will flag anything that needs adjusting.
How long will my order take?
Custom T-shirts are normally 72 working hours for up to 49 units, or up to 7 working days for 50 or more. For every other product we confirm the lead time with your quote, since it depends on the job.
Do you ship outside Gran Canaria?
Yes, by Correos to all seven Canary Islands, from €6.96 for standard post or €8.56 for registered post. Free pickup in Mogán can also be arranged.
