What we can engrave
We use a 40W diode laser for organic materials and an infrared module for metals. Between the two, they cover almost the whole catalogue:
Bamboo, wood and cork
This is where laser engraving looks its best: the mark comes out dark brown against the light tone of the material, with strong contrast and texture you can feel. Chopping boards, coasters, chargers, pens and keyrings.
Stainless steel and aluminium
The infrared module marks the metal in a permanent light tone, with no coating to lift or peel. It’s what we use on insulated bottles, metal pens, keyrings and pocket knives.
Leather, felt and technical fabrics
Engraved in a toasted tone on leather and faux leather, ideal for tags, cases and travel accessories.
Ceramic and glass: ask us first
Some ceramic mugs take an engrave-through-the-glaze finish and others don’t. Before accepting an order, we test the specific item and tell you exactly what result to expect.
Why engraving rather than printing
Screen printing or pad printing leave a layer of ink on top of the object. Over time — especially on items that get handled every day, like a pen, a keyring or a bottle that goes in a rucksack — that layer scratches and wears off. Laser engraving adds nothing: it burns or melts the surface of the material itself, so the logo becomes part of the object.
The trade-off is that engraving is single-tone: whatever colour the material takes on when marked. It won’t reproduce a four-colour logo with gradients, but it’s perfect for a brand mark, a name, a slogan or a QR code. If your logo uses several colours, we’ll adapt it to a single-tone version before production and show it to you first.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a minimum order?
Yes: items are sold in packs. Setting up the machine costs the same whether we engrave one piece or fifty, so the smallest pack is 25 units on lower-priced items and 5 or 10 on pricier ones. The minimum order usually works out at between €50 and €150. If you need a different quantity, get in touch and we’ll quote you.
What file do I need to send?
Ideally a vector file (SVG, PDF or AI). If you only have a PNG or JPG, make it as large and sharp as possible, with a transparent or white background. Since engraving is single-tone, what matters is the outline, not the colour.
How long does it take?
It depends on the item and the quantity — we give you a firm date when you confirm the order. Stock lead time is usually what sets the schedule, since the engraving itself is quick once the material is on hand.
Can I see a sample first?
On larger orders, yes: we engrave one unit, send you a photo and don’t move on to the rest until you approve it. On delicate materials such as ceramic, we always do this.
Can I bring my own material to be engraved?
Yes — bring us your own piece (wood, leather, acrylic or another suitable material) and we’ll engrave it with your design, or advise you on which material best suits your project.
